About the role

Join NSF as a Senior Corporate Accountant to play a key role in our Finance team. Lead monthly close and reporting for the corporate controllership team. Partner with global colleagues and directly impact our financial operations. Ideal for a detail-oriented, self-starter who enjoys collaboration and driving results.

  • Lead month-end close and reporting for areas including goodwill, intangibles, leases, intercompany transactions, bonuses, and commissions
  • Ensure global standardization and accuracy through consolidation checks
  • Prepare monthly executive reports on fixed assets, DSO, and cash flow
  • Manage the global chart of accounts
  • Support external audits and insurance filings
  • Drive ad hoc research and reporting projects to support international standardization
  • Collaborate across teams to streamline data and processes
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required
  • 3-5 years of accounting experience
  • Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP
  • Excellent technical and analytical skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Advanced Excel skills, including formulas, large data sets, and pivot tables
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Comfortable with IT systems; adaptable to ERP platforms
  • Detail-oriented and independent
  • Excellent problem resolution and follow-up skills
  • Based in the U.S. and available for a hybrid schedule (3 days/week in Ann Arbor office)

Preferred Qualifications

  • CPA Certification 
  • Experience with Oracle systems
