We are looking for:
- Syensqo is seeking a skilled Global Automation Engineer - Controls to join our global team.
- The successful candidate will be responsible for PLC upgrades, working closely with IT teams, senior stakeholders, and integrating systems to Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES).
- The role will involve adding instrumentation, running projects, and managing capital budgets efficiently.

- Collaborate with IT teams to ensure seamless integration of systems.
- Work closely with senior stakeholders to understand project requirements and provide solutions.
- Integrate PLC systems with MES for enhanced manufacturing operations.
- Add instrumentation to existing systems for improved data collection and analysis.
- Lead and support projects from inception to completion, ensuring timelines and budgets are met.
- Manage capital budgets effectively, optimizing costs and resources.

You will bring:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
- Proven experience in PLC programming, upgrades, and system integration.
- Strong understanding of MES systems and their integration with PLC controls.
- Excellent project management skills, with a demonstrated ability to manage budgets.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills when working with cross-functional teams.
- Willingness to travel internationally, as needed.

- The U.S. base salary range reasonably expected to be paid for this position is $103,360 to $129,200 per year. Since actual compensation packages are based on a variety of factors unique to each candidate we may ultimately pay more or less than the posted base salary range. Total compensation for this role also includes a sales incentive plan (variable annual bonus).
