Together!​</p><h3>Job Description</h3><p>Are you passionate about Quality Assurance / Quality Control and are looking to progress your career working on projects located around the world? At the business unit Subsea Cables we are looking for QA/QC Engineer to take on this challenge.  You will lead QA/QC implementation on projects in line the Boskalis integrated Quality Management System (Way of Working/WoW), client, legal and certification requirements. As the project QA/QC lead you will be the main point of contact with stakeholders and interface with the Employer, Sub-contractors, Suppliers and 3rd party representatives. This goes hand in hand with continuous improvement of our standards and processes in order to achieve operational excellence. As a QA/QC Engineer you will be required to travel abroad to visit projects and sites.</p><p><strong>Your responsibilities as a QA/QC Engineer:</strong></p><ul><li>Preparation of project and business unit QA/QC procedures, plans and instructions;</li><li>Gain understanding of the contract quality requirements and project quality documentations review; </li><li>Prepare and deliver the Project  Internal and external audit program; </li><li>Lead, Coordination, verification and witnessing of inspection activities in compliance to Industry standards and Client requirements;</li><li>Preparation of inspection documents, procedures, ITPs;</li><li>Initiate NCR life cycle, including investigations, root cause analysis, corrective action and final closure.</li><li>Project reporting and collation of quality data</li></ul><p><strong>Your Qualifications and Experience</strong><br/> You can make your mark as a QA/QC Engineer if you have:</p><ul><li>Industry recognised Quality qualification - Engineering degree or equivalent Quality specific certification</li><li>Internal / Lead ISO 9001 Auditor Certification</li><li>At least 3 years+ experience in a Quality related position.</li><li>In-depth understanding of ISO 9001, 10005 &amp; 10006.</li><li>Experience of Internal and External auditing, including preparation of audit schedules throughout the project lifecycle</li><li>Experience of Inspection and Test requirements including on-site inspections and report writing</li><li>Experience of electronic reporting /action tracking software.</li><li>Good command of English (written and spoken).</li><li>Knowledge / experience of projects in the Offshore Energy / Oil &amp; Gas sector is preferable</li></ul><p>The following competencies are also important for the role of function:  </p><ul><li>Great communicator who can work independently, as part of a project team, and across supporting departments.</li><li>Attention to detail is evident with your reporting and produced works.</li><li>Having a methodical and analytical approach to completion of tasks.</li></ul><h3>Qualifications</h3><p><strong>What you can expect</strong></p><ul><li><u>A dynamic environment:</u> A job that allows you to collaborate with a talented team of experts from different backgrounds and contribute to making a significant impact.</li><li><u>Rewarding conditions:</u> A competitive salary and much more, including holiday allowance, holiday entitlement of 26 days (based on a full-time contract) and a number of collective scheduled days off, a non-contributory pension scheme, collective schemes such as company health insurance.</li><li><u>Career development:</u> We offer you plenty of opportunities to bring out the best in yourself for example through (online) courses at our Boskalis academy.</li><li><u>Young Boskalis:</u> Are you under 36?
