About the role

Uptempo is searching for a visionary Chief People Officer to lead the people strategy for our growing global team!

The Chief People Officer (CPO) will serve as a key member of the executive leadership team, responsible for developing and implementing human resources strategies that align with the organization’s goals. The CPO will lead all aspects of talent management, organizational development, employee engagement, and culture transformation to drive high performance and enhance employee experience. 


What You'll Do:

Strategic Leadership:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive people strategy that supports the organization’s business objectives.
  • Collaborate with the executive team to align HR initiatives with overall business strategy.

Culture and Employee Engagement:

  • Champion a positive organizational culture that promotes diversity, equity, and inclusion.
  • Develop and implement initiatives to enhance employee engagement and satisfaction.

Organizational Development:

  • Lead organizational change initiatives to support growth and transformation.
  • Identify skills gaps and create training and development programs to build a capable workforce.

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Design and oversee competitive compensation and benefits programs that attract and retain talent.
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations.

HR Operations:

  • Streamline HR processes and systems to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Leverage HR analytics to inform decision-making and measure the impact of HR initiatives.

Stakeholder Collaboration:

  • Serve as a trusted advisor to the executive team and managers on people-related issues.
  • Foster strong relationships with employees at all levels to promote transparency and open communication.

Talent Management:

  • Oversee recruitment, onboarding, and talent development processes to attract and retain top talent.
  • Implement performance management systems that foster continuous feedback and professional growth.


Skills & Experience We're Excited About: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
  • 10+ years of progressive HR experience, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
  • Proven track record in developing and implementing HR strategies in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to drive change and influence at all levels of the organization.
  • Experience with HR technology and data analytics.
