Sr. Intelligence Analyst/Liaison Officer to NORTHCOM/NORAD

The Analytical Solutions Division (ASD) of Applied Research Associates (ARA), Inc (www.ara.com), contingent upon contract award, has an exciting opportunity for a full-time Senior Intelligence Analyst/Liaison Officer to NORTHCOM/NORAD on-site with the customer in Colorado Springs, CO.  The Senior Intelligence Analyst/Liaison Officer to NORTHCOM/NORAD will provide support to NNSA NA-15 Office of Secure Transportation (OST) Research and Analysis Division (RAD). The candidate through the analysis of all-source intelligence, provides research to identify, acquire, validate, and assess information from geographically separated NNSA locations to produce intelligence products related to stated or emerging threats.

The Senior Intelligence Analyst/Liaison Officer to NORTHCOM/NORAD is established by a Memorandum of Agreement and provides for the SIA to work, embedded with the NORAD and NORTHCOM interagency and J2 Intelligence Directorate and responsible for terror threat identification, analysis, liaison, and production for CONUS.  Must be capable of briefing the products to senior leadership and performing technical tasks independently and must possess a willingness to learn new techniques to accomplish tasks through research and self-study. Additionally, the embedded position allows for unfettered access to unequalled intelligence and operational assets leveraged for intelligence support to OST.

Senior Intelligence Analyst Security Clearance Requirements:

• Must have an "Active" DOE Q or TS with SCI eligibility Security Clearance 

Senior Intelligence Analyst/Liaison Officer to NORTHCOM/NORAD Requirements:

• Must be a U.S. Citizen
• Bachelor’s Degree along with 10 years of with federal all-source intelligence processes, data evaluation, and analysis.  (May also consider other acceptable systems experience such as a combination of JWICS, SIPR, Intelligence and Law Enforcement databases.)
• Responsible for threat detection, identification, analysis, forecasting, and production of unique-access transnational and CONUS threats tracked by NORTHCOM
• Research, analyze, develop, respond to, and satisfy requests for information from geographically separated NNSA locations
• Assist NNSA in specifying intelligence requirements
• Function as an Intelligence Analyst and an intelligence liaison conduit between the Department of Defense, N2C2, the Federal law enforcement community, and partners in the N2C2 Interagency, state local and municipal law enforcement and intelligence within Colorado, the U.S. Intelligence Community, and Federal agency customers
• Proficient in updating, implementing, and maintaining RAD’s database for products and reports to support RAD’s records management requirements
• Evaluate business processes, anticipate requirements, uncover areas of improvement, and develop and implement solutions 
• Excellent oral and written communications skills
• Experience using intelligence reporting tools
• Ability to work well in a team environment and establish, develop productive, strong personal relationships with peers
• Good planning and organizational skills
• Very detailed oriented
• Must be willing to work 5 days a week, onsite in Colorado Springs, CO

Senior Intelligence Analyst/Liaison Officer to NORTHCOM/NORAD Desired Experience:

• Prior NNSA experience
• C-UAS experience
