Job Title: Director of Facilities
Location: U.S.-based; Herndon, VA preferred (other on-site locations considered)
Role Overview
Everfox protects the world’s most critical data and systems in highly regulated, mission-critical environments. The Director of Facilities provides enterprise leadership for Everfox’s physical environments—ensuring offices, secure facilities, and SCIF-enabled locations are safe, compliant, resilient, and aligned with Everfox’s security-first, execution-driven culture.
This role is accountable for defining and executing a facilities strategy that supports business growth, workforce needs, and national security obligations. The Director of Facilities operates with high trust and enterprise-wide visibility, partnering closely with Security, Legal, HR, IT, Finance, and business leaders to ensure Everfox’s physical footprint enables mission execution while meeting the highest regulatory and compliance standards.
As a senior leader, the Director of Facilities balances long-term planning with operational excellence—driving consistency, risk mitigation, and disciplined execution across a distributed, security-sensitive environment.
Key Responsibilities:

Facilities Strategy & Governance
Define and execute an enterprise facilities strategy aligned with Everfox’s growth plans, security posture, and workforce requirements.
Establish and enforce facilities standards, policies, and governance across all global (U.S. locations and 2 UK locations).
Lead multi-site planning initiatives, including new site selection, buildouts, renovations, consolidations, security considerations, and exits.
Secure Facilities & SCIF Oversight
Provide executive oversight of high-security facilities and SCIFs in compliance with ICD 705, DoD, and other applicable government standards, and maintaining awareness of applicable standards and regulations.
Partner closely with the Director, Federal Security and Facility Security Officers (FSOs) in the US and the UK on maintaining accreditations, inspection readiness, and corrective action plans.
Ensure secure environments support mission execution while maintaining operational efficiency and safety.
Support operational security in collaboration with the FSOs.
Operational Excellence & Risk Management
Own day-to-day facilities operations, including maintenance, safety programs, security systems, emergency preparedness, and business continuity planning.
Proactively identify, assess, and mitigate physical, operational, and compliance risks across the facilities portfolio.
Establish clear escalation paths and decision rights to support speed, accountability, and risk discipline.
Financial Stewardship & Vendor Management
Develop and manage facilities budgets, forecasts, and multi-year capital plans.
Lead vendor selection, contract negotiation, and performance management for facilities-related services.
Ensure disciplined cost management while maintaining reliability, safety, and compliance.
People Leadership & Cross-Functional Partnership
Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing facilities team capable of operating in regulated, high-accountability environments.
Partner with Security, Legal, HR, IT, Finance, Procurement, and business leaders to enable operational and strategic outcomes.
Build trust-based relationships that improve coordination, decision quality, and execution across the enterprise.
