QA/QC Site Manager

At MYTILINEOS, we foster a culture of <strong>resilience, challenge, respect, excellence</strong>, and <strong>change</strong>, empowering our diverse workforce to achieve remarkable outcomes.</p><p>We are currently seeking a highly skilled <strong>QA/QC Site Manager</strong> to join our construction team in Athens for a Data Center project.</p><p></p><p><strong>Your role will encompass:</strong></p><p></p><ul><li>Ensures understanding and implements both Metlen's and the Project’s Quality Standards</li></ul><ul> <li>Monitors and supports Quality Control activities of Civil, Mechanical and Electrical works</li> <li>Reviews the specifications in terms of Project’s Quality requirements</li> <li>Responsibility of the implementation of the Project Quality Plan at site using tools such as project’s specifications, erection procedures, inspection and test plans (ITPs) </li> <li>Direct reporting to the Site Manager (SM).</li> <li>Responsible for implementation/monitoring   of  inspection activities of the subcontractors as specified within the ITPs and Project Quality Plan.</li> <li>Verifies that inspections are performed to the extent defined within the ITPs, by qualified staff, with calibrated equipment, as required. </li> <li>Performs inspections were required according to ITPs and clients requirements.</li> <li>Responsible for the management and review of the relevant test reports or other documentation produced by the subcontractors during the inspections.</li> <li>Inspection of  material/equipment upon receipt, monitor handling/storage &amp; preservation of materials/equipment prior/during/after installation acc. to manufacturer recommendations.</li> <li>Participates to Inspections and Coordination of 3rd Party Inspections on site </li> <li>Reviews Tests’ Reports </li> <li>Informs the Site Manager and the Construction Supervisor for any non-conformity observed.</li> <li>Monitors the progress of corrective actions and confirms the actions taken to close the NCRs. </li> <li>Performs / participates to the final walk downs with the Customer, Subcontractor(s), Construction Engineers etc. and verifies the recording of observations (punch items) that may have occurred after the walk down of the inspectors in the relevant list.</li> <li>Liaises with the SM and Construction team for ensuring the compliance of Sub-contractors with their contractual requirements</li> <li>Perform training courses to site personnel related to quality issues</li> <li>Supports the Site QA/QC team on the preparation of Erection ITPs and relevant QA/QC documentation</li> <li>Prepaire/Issue final documentation of the project.</li> <li>Supports the Site QA/QC team on technical aspects related to Quality Control</li> <li>Issue Quality daily/weekly/monthly reports acc. to Project requirements </li> <li>Participates in daily and weekly site quality meetings (internal or with the subcontractors).</li> <li>Participates in daily/weekly/monthly internal or with the Client site meetings</li> <li>Participates or perform internal or external audits.  </li> <li>Creates a Project Quality culture to all team members </li> <li>Liaise with Client for site quality issues/topics</li> <li>HSE oriented, with focusing on improving the HSE culture of his team and co-wokers</li> </ul><p></p><p><strong>What you bring to the role: </strong></p><p></p><ul> <li>7+ years of solid experience in the field of Civil, Mechanical and Electrical QA/QC of Industrial Projects i.e. Power Plants and Oil &amp; Gas or Data Centers.</li> <li>University degree in Mechanical or Civil or Electrical Engineering</li> <li>Experienced with Construction Codes, Regulations and Standards related to Industrial Projects, Civil works and Data Centers</li> <li>Experienced with the Greek Concrete Legislation.</li> <li>Solid  experience on ISO 9001 QMS</li> <li>Excellent knowledge of English language</li> <li>Team Player</li> </ul><p></p><p><strong>Your benefits:</strong></p><p></p><ul> <li>Competitive remuneration package </li> <li>Ticket Restaurant Card </li> <li>Group Health Insurance program </li> <li>Discount on the household electricity bill </li> </ul><ul> <li>Pension Plan </li> <li>Cooperation, creativity and innovation: we adopt flexible cooperation models to achieve fast results and increased productivity </li> </ul>
