Tonkin Hillsboro Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram, a premier and successful dealership, is seeking an exceptional candidate to join our team as an Assistant Service Manager. We’re looking for a motivated individual with strong automotive service experience to assist in overseeing the daily operations of our service drive, focusing on employee development and delivering outstanding customer service.
Assistant Service Manager Key Responsibilities
- Assist in hiring, training, and managing service drive employees
- Support customer retention efforts by fostering positive relationships
- Oversee post-repair services, including vehicle delivery and test driving
- Maintain a high Customer Service Index (CSI) rating by addressing customer concerns promptly and according to dealership guidelines
- Conduct follow-up with customers to ensure satisfaction with their service experience
- Collaborate with department leaders to achieve and exceed departmental goals and objectives

Qualifications
Assistant Service Manager Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Minimum of five years of experience in a high-volume dealership
- CDK experience is required
- Valid driver's license
- Strong communication skills, leadership abilities, and a knack for interpreting profit and loss statements
Corporate requirements: Must be 18 years or older with a valid driver's license and clean driving record, able to pass a criminal background check and pre-employment drug screen.
