The Barista Associate performs all operations of a small coffee shop including cashiering, preparing drinks, serving ready-to-serve snack items, maintaining cleanliness and safety of the operation. Adheres to National Patient Safety Goals as appropriate based on the level of patient contact this position requires. INTEGRIS Health is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.

The Barista Associate responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following: 

* Sets up and breaks down workstation within a specified time frame 

* Stocks, stores, labels and dates food items 

* Prepares coffee, specialty coffee, tea and chocolate drinks according to recipes and customer preferences 

* Responsible for daily cash procedures, assuring that customers are properly charged for food and drink purchases 

* Responsible for cleaning and sanitizing all beverage machines, food display cases, microwaves, counter tops, and small equipment used 

The Barista Associate reports to Food Service Operations Manager and Team Lead. This position may have additional or varied physical demand and/or respiratory fit test requirements. Please consult the Physical Demands Project SharePoint site or contact Risk Management/Employee Health for additional information. Uses chemicals for cleaning; may be exposed to very hot water and steam. Hazards and adverse working conditions are minimal if standard precautions are used when necessary.

* 1 year customer service experience 

* 6 months Barista experience
