The Patient Experience Specialist is responsible for providing core program management and provider engagement related to patient reported experience and patient reported outcomes projects within Siemens Healthineers. This includes project planning, development, implementation, evaluation and execution on multiple levels and across stakeholders. The incumbent will undertake a range of interactive, analytical and advocacy activities that will advance patient perspective and patient experience within the clinical, operational and research areas for health care providers and partners. Additionally, this position aims to ensure that patient experience and perspective is incorporated across the spectrum of various healthcare services, with the ultimate goal of improving patient outcomes, access and overall experience within health care environments.

Responsibilities:

This role is well suited for a highly ambitious and collaborative individual passionate about patient experience and advocacy.  As a patient experience specialist, you will be responsible for:  

• Lead patient experience projects and develop learnings, recommendations for improvement.    

• Lead project analyses for measuring specific metrics pertinent for patient experience, patient reported outcome measures (PROMs) and patient-reported experience measures (PREMs).

• Develop and incorporate interventions to improve patient experience in collaboration with the health care providers and Siemens Healthineers proprietary solutions.

• Manage provider engagements to drive measurable patient experience improvements in clinical, operational and patient outcomes.  

• Collaborate and build relationships with Siemens Healthineers Research and Innovation team as well as the Enterprise Services team to fulfill projects and develop health systems centered solutions.  

• Develop and engage in patient advisory boards, patient focus groups and patient engagement solutions to drive results for health systems. 

• Contribute to best practices for patient experience oriented projects and solutions, development for appropriate metrics and data organization.

• Manage projects with minimal supervision and coordinate production of deliverables.

Requirements & Capabilities:

• Clinical degree (e.g. BSN, MSN, RN,) and 3-5 years of experience working in a healthcare setting, preferably experienced working with hospitals, academic institutions, or outpatient clinics.  

• Track record of delivering high-quality projects and an analytical background. Experience within business setting, or an MBA is highly preferred.

 • Experience in patient engagement, advocacy and interactions with patient groups in advancing the patient perspective and improving outcomes.  

• Demonstrated analytical and creative problem-solving skills to develop innovative solutions within healthcare settings.

• Ability to manage and proactively identify prioritized tasks for multiple concurrent projects.

• Strong written and spoken communication skills and experience developing interpersonal relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

• Demonstrated ability to make effective decisions independently and to work in a fast-paced matrix environment with minimal supervision.

• Demonstrated ability to engage, influence and develop provider/partner strategies.

• Knowledge of Siemens Healthineers solution & product landscape is preferred.
