About the job

Mytra’s Software team is looking for an experienced senior software engineer to develop and scale the core services that power our system. In this role you will work cross-functionally with software and firmware engineers to develop critical command and control functionality. Our team is focused on development of functional, reliable and performant software. You’ll contribute to the long term success of Mytra’s core software stack by leading the development of key path planning, storage planning and system optimization functionality.

Things you'll do

• Lead and mentor development of software that powers the running of our system
• Develop automated tests to ensure high-quality software releases and accurate functionality
• Work closely with the firmware team to ensure seamless service to bot integration
• Deliver high-quality code in a variety of hardware and cloud environments
• Design, implement, test and document software

Requirements

• Strong experience with common backend languages, strong recent Python experience preferred
• Experience with path planning using algorithms
• Experience with strategies for optimizing inventory placement for storage
• Experience developing highly available, high reliability systems
• Familiarity with unit testing, integration testing, regression testing, and HIL testing
• Excellent problem solving, critical thinking, and communication skills
• Sense of ownership and a collaborative approach to developing software within a team
• Iterative approach to software development
• Desire to continue learning and growingGit experience
