Summary
As a Senior Assistant Field Technician at Gainwell, you will be responsible for providing end user support for remote locations in Riverside and San Bernardino counties The field technician will work with end users at the sites and remotely with Intel, Network, Lobby Management, and Central Depot resources. The field technician will take ownership of tickets via a ticketing queue process and dispatch on these tickets.
Your role in our mission
Travel to multiple county site locations to handle a multitude of matters including
Troubleshoot Windows workstation and laptop physical and application issues
Troubleshoot workstation scanner issues
Assist with investigating network switching and routing issues
Assist with investigating lobby management equipment issues (kiosks, fact tablets, wallboards)
Racking/De-racking of Windows servers and network equipment
Network patching/cabling of workstations/servers/switches/routers
Perform quarterly physical inventory of all project equipment at each site
Assist Central Depot and Windows Sysadmin staff with miscellaneous duties.
What we're looking for
Experience supporting Windows 10 Operating System and desktop software (MS Office Suite, Adobe Acrobat, Remote Desktop, MS TEAMS)
Experience with PXE and USB drive workstation imaging
Knowledge of network equipment (switches/routers) and basic networking troubleshooting skills
Excellent verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical colleagues at all levels in the organization.
Position requires that the candidate be onsite in Riverside or San Bernardino County, a clean California DMV record and ability to lift 50 pounds

Travel to different site locations in Riverside and San Bernardino Counties
Fleet car will be provided
Video cameras must be used during all interviews, as well as during the initial week of orientation.

The pay range for this position is $35,700.00 - $51,000.00 per year, however, the base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
