Pharmacy Clinical Manager

The Pharmacy Manager is responsible for overseeing the provision of pharmacy services (distributive and clinical) on a daily basis.  Such oversight includes personnel, equipment, processes and communication with others outside the department.  The Pharmacy Manager facilitates the development, implementation, and maintenance of systems that promote desirable patient outcomes through the use of safe, cost-effective drug therapies.

1. Education: from an accredited School of Pharmacy, ASHP accredited residency (PG – 1), current BCPS certification or equivalent direct clinical experience (with BCPS eligibility) required.
2. Experience: 2-5 years of health system experience with at least 3 years clinical experience.
3. Licenses, Certifications and/or Registrations: Current licensure in the State of Alabama, controlled substances permit, parenteral license, preceptor license, BCLS provider (ACLS preferred).
