Fleet Administrator

Pay range:  $25-$32 per hour depending on experience

Position based in Wilton, CT

Must be legally authorized to work in the United States

Hoffman Landscapes is looking for a highly detail-oriented and organized administrator.  You will be responsible for ensuring the efficient management and operation of the company's fleet. This role involves reporting vehicle maintenance, accidents, and driver management, while maintaining accurate records and optimizing fleet performance.

We serve high-end residential clients across Connecticut and New York, providing a full range of landscaping services including design, build, maintenance and snow removal services. 

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare reports on the preventative maintenance, repairs, and diagnostic checks of all fleet vehicles to minimize downtime.

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of vehicle registrations, insurance, inspections, and driver certifications.

• Utilize fleet management software to streamline data tracking and reporting.

• Manage incident and accident reporting processes.

• Ensure compliance with regulations and policies, such as DOT compliance, data, and safety 

• Prepare and submit reports on fleet performance, fuel usage, and maintenance

Qualifications and Skills:

• Knowledge of fleet management systems and maintenance scheduling

• Familiarity with DOT regulations and other compliance requirements a plus.

• Strong organizational and multitasking skills.

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office products
