Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant

Description

We are looking for an experienced and dedicated Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant to join our growing staff at our Pulmonary & Sleep Medicine practice in Walnut Creek. 

Key Responsibilities: 

• Provide direct patient care for patients, discussing patient symptoms and concerns in sleep and pulmonary medicine and performing thorough examinations to diagnose their medical problem.
•  Prescribe medication or create a treatment plan if necessary. 
• Collaborate with our physicians to treat more advanced situations in these specialties. 
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and continuing education activities.

Requirements

Our ideal candidate has the following qualifications: 

• Current state nurse practitioner or physician assistant  license
• Understands HIPAA and OSHA regulations
• Able to operate as part of a team, alongside physicians and other nurses
• Proficient in EHR medical charting system and computer-based data management programs and information systems
•  A desire to be a part of a practice that offers the latest technology in treating conditions such as sleep apnea.

Compensation will be based on experience 

Pay Scale/Ranges:

$70.00-$90.00/hour (and the hourly equivalent for salaried employees).*

*Employees actual pay rate will depend on a host of factors including, without limitation, job location, specialty, skillset, education, and experience. The pay scale/ranges shown are representative of the pay rates for the job title reflected above, but an employees actual pay rate will be determined on a case-by-case basis.
