Elm Terrace Gardens, a nonprofit long-term continuing care retirement community in Lansdale, PA seeks a licensed Personal Care Administrator to oversee the Personal Care and Memory Care Units. This is an exempt position with daytime hours. Occasional weekends and evenings may be required. Responsibilities and Duties
· Oversight of 56 bed personal care and 24 bed memory care units
· Staff hiring, supervision, training & scheduling
· Ensures day-to-day operative compliance with established standards and procedures.
· Creates and maintains an atmosphere of warmth, personal interest, and positive emphasis, as well as a calm environment throughout the residence; establishes positive rapport in and between programs/departments/centers so they recognize and foster teamwork
· Ensure compliance with Pennsylvania Department of Health and Human Services regulations and assume responsibility for the annual survey
· Develops and maintains (reviews annually) written procedures which govern the operation of the residence.
· In cooperation with the NHA and staff, create policies and procedures related to resident care, medication management and more
· Work collaboratively with all departments to ensure smooth transitions for new residents and excellent care for all residents

Requirements
Qualifications and Skills
· PA Personal Care Administrator Certification required
· Minimum 3 years' experience in a Personal Care setting
· Minimum 3 years' supervisory experience
· Familiarity with staff scheduling practices in a health care setting
· Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel
· Ability to perform tasks in accordance with PA DHS Personal Care regulations
· Excellent listening and interpersonal skills
· Ability to work as part of a team, with a "can do" attitude
· Strong organizational skills
· Dedication to resident care and desire to have a positive impact in the lives of our residents
