WCG Pre- Press Plate Mounter

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Using job ticket information, determine material and supply requirements
• Facilitate the necessary raw materials needed in advance of scheduled runs
• Prepare the cylinders and plates for mounting as well as mounting plates.
• Understand and utilize the plate filing system
• Printing plate care and handling to ensure quality plate-mounting
• Mount plates and check for correct copy, layout, unwind, and assure plates are 100% press ready.
• Maintain anilox readiness and upkeep.
• Photograph and document condition of aniloxes using camera/computer.
• Clean all aniloxes using anilox cleaning equipment.
• Remove plates from printing sleeves.
• Wash plates using cleaning equipment and store plates in as per filing requirements.
• Upkeep of anilox and plate cleaning equipment.
• Demonstrate commitment to safety and perform job duties in accordance with safety policies and procedures.
• Assist to build & remove press station @ end & start of production (clear press station).
