Summary:

The Associate Director will play a key role in the development and execution of our patient support services strategy for a new Immunology product. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys developing solutions that improve patient access to treatment while partnering with a highly matrixed team. This person will be responsible for driving excellence for a new product launch and ensuring  patient service vendors deliver exceptional customer experience.

The Associate Director, Patient Access & Support Services (PASS) will play a critical role with a primary focus on ZEPOSIA patient support programs. This role involves leading a team of Program Managers (PMs) and Senior PMs, overseeing program launches and management, addressing escalated customer issues, and continuously evolving the program to meet customer needs. The AD PM plays a critical role in creating reimbursement materials, ensuring compliance, and championing a patient-centric approach to minimize access barriers for BMS patients. 

This individual leads one or more PMs and Senior PMs in their work with hub vendors helping to identify potential issues and process improvements. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys strategic problem-solving and planning to support patient access to medications and treatment. This person will be responsible for overseeing the launch and management of complex or high-volume programs.

This individual will respond to and resolve escalated customer issues and serve as a resource for PMs and Senior PMs, internal matrix partners, and external vendors. The AD PM oversees the creation of reimbursement materials and validates that they meet compliance requirements and legal approval process using internal content management platforms. The AD PM will incorporate a patient-centric approach in their commitment to help minimize reimbursement and access barriers for BMS patients.  

 

Responsibilities:

  • Leads operational and program management for ZEPOSIA 

  • Oversee development of supporting materials for execution of strategies and initiatives in support of programs (e.g., brochures, training materials, program updates, organization messaging, etc.) 

  • Act as a subject matter expert on the reimbursement and access landscape

  • Educate matrix partners about BMS programs, policies, procedures, and resources for ZEPOSIA  

  • Mentor and support Program Managers’ (including Senior and Executive PM) development of knowledge and skills

  • Collaborate with BMS Access Reimbursement Managers (ARMs) and PASS leadership on individual case management or program needs  

  • Collaborate with BMS cross-functional team members to resolve access and reimbursement issues 

  • Coordinate services between the patient support hub, specialty pharmacies, Centers of Excellence, and other key community accounts 

  • Support programs (independently or with a matrix team) by performing industry benchmarking, stakeholder analysis and market research, and patient and provider surveys to ensure BMS is launching and operating successful programs 

  • Collaborate with copay team and manage GTN and budgeting for copay programs for assigned brand(s)Respond to and resolve broader and more complex escalated issues  

  • In partnership with Senior Director, develop and manage overall program budgets, including invoice reconciliation and workforce planning 

  • Manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven, entrepreneurial environment, adapting to change as needed
