Reporting to the Senior Director, Strategic Customer Operations the Senior Go-to-Market (GTM) Engineer will play a critical role in designing and scaling the technical infrastructure that powers our Customer Success engine. This is a highly strategic and hands-on role that bridges software engineering principles with Customer Success strategy. You will architect resilient, AI-powered systems that enhance customer outcomes, improve retention, and drive efficiency across the full customer lifecycle—from onboarding and adoption to engagement, renewal, and expansion.
This is a full-time role based in New York City operating on a hybrid schedule and expected to work from our New York City office 3+ days per week. Occasional travel may be required for in-person team events or meetings.
What You’ll be Doing:
AI & Automation Engineering
- Own the design, testing, and iteration of automation systems that scale Customer Success efficiency (e.g. reducing churn, improving renewal rates, identifying upsell signals).
- Build predictive models and automations that surface actionable insights to CSMs and Account Managers, such as product usage risk alerts or expansion opportunities.
- Leverage internal and external data sets to improve customer health scoring, satisfaction tracking, and engagement metrics.
- Accelerate customer team productivity through AI and automation that supports proactive account management, reporting, and client communication.
Cross-Functional Leadership
- Partner with Customer Success, RevOps, Enablement, and Member Marketing/Member Engagement Strategy to continuously improve data-driven customer retention and expansion strategies.
- Serve as a subject matter expert in GTM engineering best practices, educating customer-facing teams on automation and system optimization.
- Translate customer success strategy into scalable systems using software engineering best practices (rapid prototyping, iteration, testing, CI/CD).
Tech Stack Ownership
- Oversee feature enablement, adoption, and optimization across the tech stack (e.g. Salesforce, Gainsight, Gong, Snowflake) with a focus on improving customer outcomes.
- Proactively monitor the AI tech landscape to evaluate new vendors and identify opportunities to maximize the efficiency of our GTM technology ecosystem.
