Who We Want:
Responsible for maintaining financial procedures and confirming financial compliance through preparation of financial reports and statements.
What You’ll Do:
- Assist with analysis to bridge actual consolidated company performance compared with plan.
- Assist with quarterly management discussion and analysis including company performance summaries, capital expenditure budget to actual analysis, and company covenant calculations.
- Identify and post certain journal entries
- Assist with monthly financial reporting package detailing corporate performance
- Assist monthly balance sheet reconciliation detail
- Assist with monthly borrowing base calculations for company's third-party lenders
- Support the Company with annual 3rd-party audit requests including bank audits, and the annual company audit
- Support the Company with annual 3rd-party tax requests and tax schedules
- Assist with annual 1099 filings
- Assist with corporate tax filings for various LLC's and corporations across various jurisdictions
- Coordinate property tax filings with third party vendor
- Coordinate non-recurring projects with the Company's senior leadership
- Coordinate bi-weekly check request for management's review with payment summaries
- Assist the accounts receivable and accounts payable departments with supplier account reconciliations and following up on past due invoices
When and Where:
This will be a full time position located at our Corporate Office in Walker, MI.
What You Need to Have:
- Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Accounting
- 1-3 years of experience with increasing responsibility
- CPA designation preferred

- Knowledge of financial statements and tax reporting requirements
- Proficient with Microsoft Office
- Advanced Excel skills required
- Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, to finance and non-finance groups
