What You’ll Do:

The Cloud Infrastructure Engineer will be responsible for managing and maintaining Lubrizol’s Cloud services and infrastructure, ensuring the availability, scalability, and security of our Cloud environment. The Cloud Infrastructure Engineer will serve as a subject matter expert in Cloud platforms, stay up to date with the latest industry trends and be advocate for Lubrizol’s Cloud based capabilities.

 

What We’re Looking For:

  • Design, implement, and manage Cloud services and infrastructure, including virtual machines, storage, and networking.
  • Monitor and optimize the performance, availability, and scalability of Lubrizol’s Cloud environment, including cost management – addressing unused assets, reservations etc.
  • Ensure the security of Lubrizol’s Cloud environment by implementing and maintaining appropriate security measures, aligning with Lubrizol IT & Security policies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement Cloud based solutions that meet business requirements.
  • Resolve Cloud related issues and incidents, including off-hours support as required.
  • Stay up to date with the latest Cloud technologies, best practices, and trends.
  • Document technical specifications, configurations, and procedures.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to other team members.
  • Communicate with Cloud providers and third parties to achieve desired outcomes.
  • Ensure disaster recovery methods are in place, documented and regularly tested.

 

Skills That Make a Difference:

  • Minimum of five (5) years of relevant IT experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology (IT) or a related field
  • Microsoft Certified Azure Solutions Architect (required)
  • AWS Certified Solutions Architect (preferred)
  • Google Professional Cloud Architect (preferred)
  • Experience with managing and maintaining cloud-based solutions in Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services and Google Cloud Platform.
  • Experience with automation and orchestration tools such as Packer, TerraForm and Ansible.
