The Project Management team is crucial to the success of Meetup. Our team works with key stakeholders to ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the agreed-upon quality standards. Our internships are focused on empowering those with unique points of view, experience, and knowledge.
What you’ll be doing:
- Assist with project planning and scheduling. This includes gathering requirements and developing timelines.
- Coordinate with project team members and stakeholders. This includes assigning tasks and following up on action items.
- Document project progress. This includes creating and maintaining project documentation, such as project trackers, meeting minutes, and status reports.
- Support the PMO team. This includes providing administrative support, such as scheduling meetings and preparing presentations.
You're our ideal team member if you have:
- Strong organizational skills. Project management interns need to be able to keep track of multiple tasks and deadlines, and they need to be able to prioritize and manage their time effectively.
- Excellent communication skills. Project management interns need to be able to communicate effectively with a variety of stakeholders, including team members and managers. They need to be able to clearly articulate their ideas and instructions, and they need to be able to listen to feedback and respond accordingly.
- Problem-solving skills. Project management interns need to be able to identify and solve problems quickly and efficiently. They need to be able to think critically and come up with creative solutions.
- Technical skills are a plus. Having a basic understanding of project management tools and software are a plus.

Eligibility: You are pursuing a Bachelor's (junior or senior year) or Master's degree; or have otherwise demonstrated professional level experience. This internship runs approximately 8 to 10 weeks (June 2023 through August 2023) from Monday through Thursday (32 hours/week). You are located in the New York City area and are able to participate in our hybrid office schedule of coming into the office a minimum of once per week.
The pay range for this position is $20/hour; however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, candidate location, and experience.
