Estimator (Construction / Steel Builds) – Dayshift, Remote Full-Time | Work From Home | AUSTRALIA Client Reporting Line Reports directly to the Sales Manager Employment Details Full-Time Role Remote (Philippines-based candidates preferred) About the Role We’re looking for a detail-driven and commercially aware Estimator to join our growing team. You’ll play a critical role in the sales process—producing accurate, timely quotations and supporting tender submissions to help win new business. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys combining technical construction knowledge + numbers + problem-solving, while working closely with sales and design teams. What You’ll Be Doing 1. Estimation & Quoting- Prepare accurate and timely quotations aligned with agreed turnaround times
- Review project requirements and generate cost estimates (materials, labor, size, location)
- Handle requotes and revisions in collaboration with the sales team
- Support tender and proposal submissions
- Assess project scope using construction knowledge and practical judgment
- Identify cost risks, gaps, and opportunities in each quote
- Apply logical sequencing and structured thinking to estimation
- Help improve estimation workflows using lean and efficient processes
- Maintain strong documentation and consistent estimation standards
- Use Excel and tools to streamline pricing accuracy and speed
- Work closely with Sales, Design, Drafting, and Marketing teams
- Coordinate with external stakeholders such as builders, councils, and installers
- Contribute to a collaborative, high-performance team environment
- Experience in estimating, costing, or quantity surveying
- Background in construction, steel, manufacturing, or building projects
- Experience supporting sales or tender processes
- Commercial thinker (not just data entry—understands impact of numbers)
- Proactive and solution-oriented
- Strong communicator and team player
- Process-driven with a mindset for continuous improvement
