Small Mine Equipment Maintenance/Mill Maintenance

Montana Resources, LLC is looking for a T Small Mine Equipment Maintenance/Mill Maintenance Technician to join our team. • Maintaining small diesel equipment to include skid steers, telehandlers, generators, light plants an other equipment as needed.
• Responsible for inventory, parts ordering and preventive maintenance scheduling. 
• Conduct preventive maintenance, inspections, diagnosing and repairing all aspects of equipment. 
• Address more complex repairs to include engines, brakes, transmissions and electrical system. 
• At times, work with other maintenance groups such as Mill Maintenance. 
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Strong mechanical background required. 
• Strong knowledge of welding, pipefitting and fabrication preferred. 
• Experience with Microsoft Excel and scanning and diagnostic tools preferred. 
• Ability to complete work tasks under various adverse weather conditions.
•  Ability to be self-directed, team-oriented and work with minimum supervision required. 
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. with or without reasonable accommodations required. 
• Excellent attendance record required. 
• Proven safe work record required. 
• Team player, leadership and good interpersonal skills required.

Montana Resources operates an open pit copper and molybdenum mine in Butte, Montana. The operation comprises the Continental mine, crushers and a concentrator facility where tons of raw ore are processed into high-quality metal concentrates.
