Director, Learning and Development

The Legal Operations Team is on the front lines of client service and drafting excellence, ensuring a high-quality work product for our clients and working closely with our Product and Engineering teams. As our Director of Legal Operations Enablement, you will spearhead our onboarding process and L&D programs for this large and rapidly growing team.

Specifically, you will build the engine that ensures team members are set up for success as they begin their journeys at EvenUp, and as they and our product continue to grow. You and the team you build will create and rapidly iterate on onboarding processes and L&D programs, working cross-functionally with leaders to ensure our curriculum stays relevant, geared to the latest and greatest in our technology, and scales across dozens of hires.

What you will do:  

• Build a gameplan for the future of Legal Operations onboarding and training that will scale with our business

• Create and execute on a powerful training curriculum that ranges from onboarding programs to continuous education and topic-based instruction

• Collaborate cross-functionally with other leaders to ensure that training evolves at the same speed as our technology and business

• Identify, develop, measure and meet KPIs for success in L&D at EvenUp 

• Scope, deploy and manage an LMS capable of supporting dozens of hires weekly

• Build and manage a team of enablement and L&D professionals to support the Legal Operations Team’s growth 

What we look for: 

• History of driving bottom line results through enablement and training

• Experience building training and enablement programs from scratch 

• Experience managing a team and fostering career development for team members

• Tech savvy and up-to-date with virtual learning and development technologies 

• Strong knowledge of instructional design and performance enhancement 

• Strong written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail 

• Ability to create measurable impact both directly and indirectly
