Job Title

Sr. Director Product Management

About your role:
Fiserv is a global leader in financial services technology, delivering solutions that enable clients to move money and information securely and efficiently. You will lead the Developer Studio and related digital transformation initiatives—overseeing product and delivery teams that provide APIs, developer tooling, and AI-enabled capabilities to accelerate customer integrations and new product innovation. Your work will modernize legacy systems and scale a platform that empowers internal and external developers to build next-generation financial services.

What you’ll do:

  • Lead the product and delivery strategy for Developer Studio and associated platform services, aligning roadmap priorities with Fiserv’s digital and AI transformation goals.
  • Define and drive the execution of AI-enabled features, API products, developer SDKs, and platform-as-a-product practices to increase developer productivity and business value.
  • Oversee cross-functional delivery for digital transformation programs, migrating legacy capabilities to cloud-native microservices and scalable SaaS models.
  • Collaborate with engineering, UX, data science, security, and business stakeholders to define requirements, prioritize work, and ensure high-quality, scalable releases.
  • Build and manage strategic vendor and partner relationships related to API management, cloud services, and ML/AI tooling.
  • Engage developer communities and enterprise clients to gather feedback, measure adoption, and inform product decisions.
  • Define, monitor, and report KPIs for product adoption, platform performance, and business impact; present outcomes in executive forums and contribute to long-term strategic planning.
  • Responsibilities listed are not intended to be all-inclusive and may be modified as necessary.

Experience you’ll need to have:

  • 13+ years of experience in leading developer platform and API strategy, API management platforms (e.g., Apigee, Kong, AWS API Gateway) and platform-as-a-product approaches.
  • 13+ years of experience in cloud architecture and operations for scalable SaaS platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and cloud-native patterns (containers, Kubernetes).
  • 10+ years of experience in building and launching AI/ML-enabled products into production (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, MLflow, model deployment pipelines).
  • 10+ years of experience driving enterprise digital transformation, modernization of legacy systems, and microservices-based re-architecture.
  • 8+ years of experience implementing and operating security and compliance controls relevant to payments and platforms (PCI DSS, OAuth2, OpenID Connect).
  • 8+ years of experience with delivery and DevOps tooling and practices (CI/CD with Jenkins/GitHub Actions, Terraform for IaC, container registries).
  • 8+ years of equivalent combination of educational background, related experience, and/or military experience.
  • 1+ years of Fiserv systems experience.

Experience that would be great to have:

  • Executive stakeholder management and experience presenting product strategy and metrics to senior leaders and boards.
  • Experience in payments, card networks, or bank integrations (NACHA, SWIFT, ISO 20022).
  • Certifications such as PMP, SAFe Program Consultant, or TOGAF.
  • Prior experience running developer advocacy, community engagement, or partner developer programs.
  • Track record of managing large vendor relationships and procurement for platform services.
