The Position:
FanDuel Sports Network is seeking a full-time Senior Research Analyst to join the Ad Sales team. Reporting to the Sr. Director, Research, this position will work closely with the national and regional advertising sales teams to create compelling presentations and sales materials for both new and existing clients.

This is a hybrid position that can be based out of any FDSN regional worksite.
The Game Plan
(What you will do):
- Data Analysis: Collect, organize, and interpret linear and streaming viewing data, consumer behavior patterns, and sports fan preferences to shape business decisions and uncover new opportunities.
- Market Research: Stay on top of advertising and industry trends, tap into the mindset of sports fans, and gather crucial insights for our ad sales team including competitive activity and prospecting.
- Client Support: Develop compelling presentations and sales materials for both new and existing clients. Your work will influence how we showcase our brand and capabilities.
- Vendor Assessments: Perform thorough assessments of third-party research vendors; analyze their methodologies, data reliability and strategic alignment with the company’s objectives.
- Presentations: Develop and deliver engaging sessions to share insights and best practices, educating internal teams on media- and research-related topics.
- Collaboration: Partner with the ad sales team to strategize, share research findings, and educate colleagues on key insights—helping everyone stay ahead of the curve.
The Stats
(What to bring):
- Television Experience: Working knowledge of Nielsen linear data and software is required (Arianna, NLTV, NPower, or other software). Familiarity with streaming viewership data is a plus.
- Syndicated Data: Scarborough, MRI/Simmons, and YouGov familiarity are a plus.
- Primary Research: Experience writing and analyzing primary research surveys is a plus
- Detail-Oriented: You’re meticulous when it comes to verifying data and ensuring reports are accurate and user-friendly.
- Tech-Savvy: You’re proficient in PowerPoint, Excel (including pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, and formula creation) and other Microsoft tools (i.e. Planner, Power Bi and Teams). You enjoy learning new tools and are able to pick up new technology quickly.
- Naturally Curious: You’re fascinated by research methods, consumer behavior, advertising effectiveness, TV trends, and the ever-evolving world of sports fandom.
- Organized & Efficient: You excel at project management and can easily juggle tasks while focusing on both the big picture and the details.
- Creative & Analytical: You love numbers and aren’t afraid to dig deeper to tell a story with data. You brainstorm fresh ideas and approach challenges with curiosity.
- Independent & Proactive: You excel at managing your own workload, prioritizing tasks effectively, and working with minimal supervision.
- Strong Communicator: You’re comfortable translating technical concepts into simple, clear explanations for colleagues at all levels.
- Education: A college degree is required. 3-4 years of similar work experience is preferred

The Company is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The base compensation range for this role is $70k - $80k per year. Final compensation will be determined by various factors such as a candidate’s relevant work experience, skills, certifications, and geographic location.
