Schedule Details: M-F 8-4:30, No holidays, or weekends 

 

What You Will Do:

The Medication Access Specialist is a patient-facing position focused on seeking grants, disease-specific foundation and/or pharmaceutical sponsored copay or free medication to offset patient financial toxicity from oral and injectable therapies including chemotherapy/biotherapy and support medications. The ideal candidiate must demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills in order to provide complete, timely and accurate communication to provider care team to ensure continuity of care. May be expected to perform some pharmacy technician and/or clerical duties relating to the department and work across different campuses as needed.
