Senior Manager - Business Development & Project Coordination

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Senior Manager for Business Development and Project Coordination to lead and expand our operations in Romania. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing and coordinating infrastructure projects, with a focus on the Transport or, Water & Environment sectors. This role demands a strong engineering background, in-depth Romanian market knowledge, and fluency in English and Romanian.

Key Responsibilities

1. Business Development
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities especially in the Transport and Water & Environment infrastructure sectors.
• Build and maintain relationships with key clients, stakeholders, and government entities in Romania.
• Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends and opportunities.
• Prepare and deliver proposals, presentations, and competitive bids.
2. Project Coordination
• Oversee the planning, execution, and monitoring of infrastructure projects, ensuring they meet quality, budget, and timeline objectives.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including engineers, consultants, and contractors.
• Monitor project risks and implement mitigation strategies.
• Ensure compliance with Romanian regulations and international standards.
3. Strategic Leadership
• Develop and implement growth strategies tailored to the Romanian market.
• Provide technical and managerial insights to enhance project efficiency.
• Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and meetings.

Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering (Civil, Environmental, or related fields).
• Experience:
• 10-15 years of proven experience in Transport and/or Water & Environment infrastructure projects.
• Strong portfolio of business development achievements in Romania.
• Market Knowledge:
• Comprehensive understanding of the Romanian infrastructure market, regulations, and funding mechanisms.
• Established network within the sector.
• Languages: Fluency in English and Romanian (written and spoken).
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in project management tools, technical software, and reporting tools.
• Soft Skills:
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities.
