Cyber Security Analyst

ECS is seeking a Cybersecurity Analyst to work in our Augusta, GA office.

 

ECS is seeking a talented Cybersecurity Analyst to join our dynamic team supporting the U.S. Army and DoDIN-A (Department of Defense Information Network – Army). The ideal candidate will bring hands-on experience with leading security platforms and provide both proactive and reactive cybersecurity support. The candidate will perform in-depth analysis of security events and alerts from various platforms including Trellix (formerly McAfee), Microsoft Defender for Endpoint (MDE), Elastic Stack (ELK), and Threat Intelligence Platforms.

•   Provide timely and professional support to customer requests, ensuring accurate documentation and follow-through.
    •  Work closely with global incident handlers to provide direct analytical support during incident response efforts.
    •  Assist in the identification, containment, and remediation of cyber threats within DoD environments.
    •  Maintain situational awareness of emerging threats and vulnerabilities relevant to the U.S. Army and DoD infrastructure.
    •  Support security operations center (SOC) functions and contribute to threat hunting initiatives.
    •  Ensure compliance with DoD cybersecurity policies and contribute to the development of operational procedures and reporting requirements.

Qualifications

• Must be a US citizen with an active Top-Secret clearance.
• IAT Level II certification (e.g., Security+ CE, CCNA Security, CySA+).
• Minimum of 3 years of cybersecurity experience, including work in DoD or federal environment
• Hands-on experience with:
    •  Trellix EDR/SIEM tools
    •  Microsoft Defender for Endpoint (MDE)
