We are currently seeking a Testing Engineering Specialist to join our team in Fort Knox, Kentucky (US-KY), United States (US).
Position's General Duties and Tasks:
This is a Test Engineer position that is responsible: creating and reviewing test plans and test cases, verifying software issues reported by other teams, testing bug fixes, creating test scenarios, tracking project requirements, performing functional and regression testing, logging and tracking test issues and defects, participating in software design reviews, producing and reviewing test evaluation reports, managing test environments, writing and maintaining scripts used in automated testing, tracking and reporting testing activities, creating and maintaining support documents and reports and providing status reports to management teams.
Job Duties:
- Evaluates, recommends, and implements automated test tools and strategies.
- Designs, implements, and conducts test and evaluation procedures to ensure system requirements are met.
- Develops, maintains, and upgrades automated test scripts and architectures for application products. Also writes, implements, and reports status for system test cases for testing. Analyzes test cases and provides regular progress reports.
- Serves as subject matter specialist providing testing know-how for the support of user requirements of complex to highly complex software/hardware applications.
- Directs and/or participates in all phases of risk management assessments and software/hardware development with emphasis on analysis of user requirements, test design and test tools selection.
Basic Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in software testing design and execution
- Minimum 5 years of experience in developing, writing, and maintaining automated test scripts
- Secret Clearance required
- Security+ CE required
Preferred Qualifications:
- Cisco Certified Networking Associate
- CompTIA Network+ Certification
- Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer
- Cisco Certified Networking Professional
- Microsoft Certified Application Specialist
Where required by law, NTT DATA provides a reasonable range of compensation for specific roles. The starting pay range for this remote role is [Min: $70,800 - Max: $147,500]. This range reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation for the position across all US locations. Actual compensation will depend on a number of factors, including the candidate’s actual work location, relevant experience, technical skills, and other qualifications. This position may also be eligible for incentive compensation based on individual and/or company performance.
This position is eligible for company benefits that will depend on the nature of the role offered.
