Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Responsible for inspecting and reporting on specific aspects of construction works in progress, such as concrete pours, rebar placement, drainage pipe placement, etc.
• May also be responsible for inspections and sampling of construction material as they arrive on site.
• Assists geotechnical engineers in the field during soil and materials investigations.

Candidate should meet the following requirements:

• Minimum of a high school diploma or the equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year of relevant experience.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Valid drivers license and current drivers insurance.
• Must be available for overtime and weekend work as needed.
• Must be able to work independently.
• Must regularly lift and/or move up to 75 pounds.

Qualifications:

Successful Candidates should also have some of the following or similar certifications

• ICC Certifications Soil, Reinforced Concrete, reinforced masonry
• ACI Concrete Field Testing Technician Grade 1
• ACI Concrete Construction Special Inspector
• NiCET certifications relevant to construction material testing/Inspections
