Registered Nurse - Inpatient Psychiatry - Young Adult/College Student Program - Full Time Days

In this role, the Registered Nurse will be working with young adults, ages 18-29, with emerging psychiatric disorders on a 34-bed unit. You will perform various procedures and tasks that are essential to the delivery of top-notch patient centered care. You will help optimize the patient experience, as you provide support throughout the continuum care and participate in initiatives focused on improving the performance of our nursing practice. You will work with the brightest minds in healthcare to make tomorrow better for countless human beings. Now, you have the opportunity to join us.

This is a full time (12 hours), day shift (7:30am - 8pm) RN position, includes working rotating weekends.


Preferred Criteria:

  • At least one year of acute care RN experience in psych nursing 

Required Criteria:

  • Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing
  • Bachelor's degree in nursing (BSN)
  • Current New York State RN license
  • BLS certification from the American Heart Association
  • Excellent customer service skills

Please note that all roles require on-site presence (variable by role). Therefore, all employees should live within a commutable distance to NYP.

NYP will not reimburse for travel expenses.

$105,700-$119,230/Annual
