Senior Technology Product Analyst

PrimeLending is a leading national home lender focused on empowering the pursuit of homeownership. We are seeking a Senior Technology Product Analyst to work with Production, Operations, and Technology personnel to identify workflow issues and define business requirements for IT technology specification development. They will ensure that all products have the needed capabilities to increase productivity and usability.
- Works with Product Manager to define product strategy and roadmap with prioritized features and corresponding justification
- Ownership of new features/enhancements, driving the start to finish activities associated with new feature development
- Provides ideas and recommendations regarding the integration of the system in day to day business as well as evolving needs and enhancements
- Meet with decision makers, systems owners, and end users to define business, financial, and operations requirements and systems goals; identifies and resolves systems issues; leads design sessions to enhance business processes, operations, and information process flow
- Review and analyze the effectiveness and efficiency of existing systems; develop strategies for improving or further leveraging systems
- Provides ideas and recommendations regarding the integration of the system in day to day business and the evolution of the system.
- Conducts research and analysis into the advancement of system features as well as the nature, effect and results of system problems
- Develops detailed business user requirements (user stories & acceptance criteria), system documentation, workflow procedures, and data modeling
- Negotiates plans, time frames and trade-offs while ensuring client understands the final results of the project.
- Collaborate in the planning, design, development, and deployment of new applications and enhancements to existing applications; creates system design proposals; performs cost-benefit and return on investment analyses for proposed systems to aid management in making implementation decisions
- Build effective relationships with business units/departments, and outside vendors in support of the systems and corporate processes and ensure the client’s business needs have been met.
- Build effective relationships with business units to develop a “joint” vision; act as a liaison with department(s) as well as external sources as appropriate in support of systems
- Collaborate with product analyst in review of feature requirements and related bugs, as well as ensuring appropriate UAT scripts have been prepared and executed, assisting as needed
- Participate as a lead in scrum, sprint planning and other related sprint and release activities
- Develop feature enhancement proposals
- Collaborate with 3rd party vendors as well as internal product owners on system integrations
- Review implemented system changes/improvements and provide feedback on overall effect to all users, including testing, documentation and subject matter input
- Partner and coordinate with training to develop educational assets for new features and enhancements
- Participate in professional development and other industry networks to ensure awareness of industry standards, trends and best practices in order to promote innovative and compliant product development
- Maintain a professional image, positive attitude, and adhere to standards consistent with company policies and procedures.

- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum of 3 years experience with business operations or systems development, or equivalent combination of education and experience in one or more specific areas of business, such as insurance, underwriting, financial, manufacturing, or Business Process Reengineering concepts and methods.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to interact effectively with branch, regional and corporate personnel.
- Demonstrated analytical and negotiation skills with close attention to detail.
- Excellent computer skills, including Word, Access, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Project, VISIO, VB, other graphic software or similar programs.
- Ability to understand concepts governing relational database structures, use reporting/query tools, and construct SQL statements.
- Some travel may be required.
