Introduction

ASML US, including its affiliates and subsidiaries, bring together the most creative minds in science and technology to develop lithography machines that are key to producing faster, cheaper, more energy-efficient microchips. We design, develop, integrate, market and service these advanced machines, which enable our customers - the world’s leading chipmakers - to reduce the size and increase the functionality of their microchips, which in turn leads to smaller, more powerful consumer electronics. Our headquarters are in Veldhoven, Netherlands, and we have 18 office locations around the United States including main offices in Chandler, Arizona, San Jose and San Diego, California, Wilton, Connecticut, and Hillsboro, Oregon.

Context of the Position

The IT department in the US supports two major factories located in Connecticut and California that each develop and manufacture complex assemblies that require a coordinated supply chain, build plan and ultimately international shipment for final integration at ASML’s Global Headquarters in Veldhoven NL. These functions rely on various SAP modules and related processes and tooling to ensure alignment, visibility and core business functions. Additionally, we support processes and applications that are used in the Customer Support and Finance organizations locally as well as distributed in the US. We work closely with other IT colleagues in the US and globally to provide a single point of contact for our local business partners whenever possible.

Job Mission

The Lead Business Process Analyst is the primary IT point of contact working with all levels of management and subject matter experts in their primary functional area across multiple domains. This individual would ensure that any local or regional initiative is assessed against global architecture and strategies in order to leverage consistent solutions if at all possible. The individual would regularly be expected to assess and develop detailed requirements and drive scoping discussions to help IT and Business Management determine appropriate solutions. The candidate would also clarify with their business partner the expected benefits, change impact and relative priority of any implementation proposed. Once approved, the solution will be crafted through process improvement, application configuration or a combination of methods in close collaboration with business partners and possibly, external service providers. The deliverable will typically include change management that requires clear communication, documentation and possibly training in order to deliver full value.

This position requires access to controlled technology, as defined in the Export Administration Regulations (15 C.F.R. § 730, et seq.). Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to access such controlled technology prior to beginning work. Business demands may require ASML to proceed with candidates who are immediately eligible to access controlled technology.
