Summary

You will support existing, as well as design and develop new custom software applications in a full stack capacity.  You will participate in the full software development life cycle using various products and technologies.  You will also conduct requirement analysis, produce design documents on proposed solutions, and deliver consistent, high-quality code. 

Responsibilities 

• Designs, develops, implements, and maintains software solutions based upon business and technical requirements with exceptional quality, meeting designated release plan and delivery commitments 

• Collaborates with stakeholders and participates in all aspects of software delivery from requirements gathering, analysis, design, development, validation, delivery, and maintenance 

• Provides support for existing applications and maintains high client satisfaction through successful and timely resolution of technical and operational problems 

• Develops software applications that meets specifications for business need, security, and maintainability 

• Evaluates alternate, innovative solutions to business problems including the use of commercially available software  

• Develops documentation for end users and IT support staff 

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in a related field of study or related experience.  5+ years in a Software Engineer role or other related experience. Where applicable, other combinations of education and experience may be considered as equivalent.

IT Industry Certifications from Microsoft is preferred.

Other Qualifications, Skills, and Abilities 

• Proven experience with web development using programming languages and frameworks such as .Net, C#, JavaScript, JQuery, React, Entity Framework, and REST/SOAP APIs 

• Proven development experience with SQL Server or other relational database platforms 

• Proven experience with agile development practices, including unit testing and continuous integration 

• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, troubleshooting and debugging skills 

• Excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate technical information to “non-technical” users 

• Proven ability to manage concurrent projects
