Southern Glazer’s offers a competitive compensation package with a salary range of $54,000 to $72,000, plus auto allowance and incentives. This salary is an average for this position. In determining a final offer, the company will evaluate a specific candidate's education, skills and experience and will make an offer appropriately.

Overview
The Chain Account Specialist's primary responsibilities are to provide wine and spirits education to the assigned chain team, retailers and customers. This person will provide the necessary training to ensure understanding of the entire portfolio and onboarding champion to all new employees. The role will be field based, and the aim is to have the ability to have the right consultative sales conversations to drive increased sales revenue and achieve assigned sales targets. Face-to-face consultative selling built on trusting relationships drives maximum value to our customer and supplier partners as well as to the SGWS organization.
Primary Responsibilities
- Provide wine and spirit education training for assigned Chain sales teams on a quarterly basis or as needed.
- Heavy focus on trade time supporting chain initiatives, programs, and customer facing education to promote store level sales.
- Monitor pricing, merchandising, and competitive activity
- Partner with National, regional, and corporate accounts for fast and effective compliance.
- Ensure accurate product pricing, effective discount management, and management of program deadlines
- Coordinate and monitor ads, in-store features, and activities
- Track sales dollars and cases on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis
- Identify short and long account opportunities and create plans to leverage products and relationships
- Provide monthly reports for chain account leadership as needed.
- Attend chain sales meetings, account promotions and/or events as necessary to promote products.
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned
- Create and establish retailer district level management relationships; develop high level relationships with area Store Directors, Ops, and District Managers.
- High level emphasis on providing support for retailer specific digital needs
- Work with agency partners, prepare stores for surveys and visits, and aid suppliers in creating more impactful programs through transformation of account format
Additional Primary Responsibilities
- Coordinate administrative aspects of chain sales calls, account meetings, and account visits including logistics and follow-up documentation
- Prepare and distribute reports to chain account leadership and internal stakeholders
- Support chain account promotional events through administrative coordination and execution tracking
- Maintain accurate records and documentation for audit compliance and customer reporting requirements
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned
