TekPro Support Services, LLC is seeking a MEBAA to provide consultative services to Navy Medical Forces Atlantic (NMFL), Navy Medical Forces Pacific (NMFP) and Navy Medicine Readiness and Training Commands (NMRTC) and Units (NMRTU). The contractor will provide VIRTUAL non-clinical, high level health expertise in review, evaluation, processing of mental health records and providing recommendations to the government for Medical Evaluation Board Activities (LIMDU/ADSEP CnD/DES).
What You'll Do:
• You shall serve as a Disability Evaluation System (DES) expert, consultant, and advisor to engage in Medical Evaluation Board (MEB) administration, evaluation, and finalization of Medical Evaluation Board Reports (MEBR);
• You shall participate in all readiness processes and programs related to Limited Duty (LIMDU), Disability Evaluation System (DES), Temporary Disability Retired Listing (TDRL), and Administrative Separations for Conditions Not Amounting to Disability (ADSEP CnD), and Compensation and Pension Exams (C&P).
• You shall confer with treating, referring, specialty providers, and local Convening Authorities as part of review and evaluation of medical records and systems in providing recommendations to the government;
• You shall review medical records using electronic systems (HAIMS, MHS Genesis, LIMDU SMART) for fitness for duty and for meeting the Medical Retention Determination Point (MRDP) criteria by conducting a complex and comprehensive review for all cases considered for all MEB activities at the assigned NMRTC;
• You shall also generate narrative summaries from review of medical records, clinical systems, and via consultation with government physicians,
• You shall attend VIRTUALLY and participate in monthly reviews;
• You shall conduct research with all care providers and recommend course of action;
• You shall oversee all medical readiness processes

Requirements:
• Must be a US Citizen.
• Males born after 12-31-59 must be registered for Selective Service.
• You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final secret security.
Qualifications:
• Licensure: Applicants must possess a current, active, full, and unrestricted medical license in one of the following specialties; Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Occupational Medicine, or Psychiatry and be board eligible or board certified from a State, the District of Columbia, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, or a territory of the United States.
Education
Doctor of Medicine, or equivalent from a school in the United States or Canada. If Degree is from Foreign Medical School: A Doctor of Medicine or equivalent degree from a foreign medical school must have provided education and medical knowledge equivalent to accredited schools in the United States.
