We have an exciting opportunity for a OME Test Stand Project Manager to join the team with Bastion Technologies, a teammate company.
We are actively searching for qualified candidates for this potential opening; however, we do not have any guarantee at this time when the position will be finalized and opened. The OME Test Stand Project Engineer will:
- Perform project management and engineering functions for development of an Orion Main Engine (OME) hot fire test stand including requirements development, hardware development, manufacturing/procurement, assembly, and test
- Manage the engineering team for the development of a test stand - Provide budgeting, forecasting and cost estimating support
- Oversee and develop schedules (MS Project and Smartsheet), procedures, work instructions and process flows
- Develop risks and risk mitigation plans for rollup into the higher-level risk system
- Interact frequently with inter-organizational disciplines, NASA System Managers, and operational customers
- Perform other duties as required

- Typically requires a minimum of a bachelor’s degree in Engineering and normally possess 5-10 years of related experience. License and certification may be required.
- Related experience in managing and leading engineering projects. License or certification is a plus.
- Experience in liquid propulsion engines and testing
- Experience managing and leading engineering projects
- Experience with financial reporting, including budgeting, forecasting and cost estimating
- Excellent oral and written communication skills for effectively interacting
