Role:The Employee Relations Partner serves as the primary human resources (HR) communication conduit to one or more assigned affiliates and/or departments and executes HR practices to support and improve workforce engagement in alignment with Core Values. Works in partnership with other HR functions and affiliate/department leadership to deliver and provide support for strategic business goals and HR strategic initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Minimum of five (5) years progressive Human Resources Generalist experience; minimum of seven (7) years progressive Human Resources Generalist experience in the absence of Bachelor’s degree
- PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP a plus
- Experience in a healthcare/multi-location environment preferred.
- Prior employee relations and/or investigative experience preferred.
- Demonstrated understanding of employee relations, performance management, unemployment claims, policy setting, and federal and state employment laws (i.e. the Americans with Disabilities Act) that apply
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
- Good organizational skills and the ability to effectively manage many tasks simultaneously
- Able to prioritize and work effectively under pressure in a fast paced environment
- Strong judgment and decision making skills
- Solution-oriented in all interactions and able to take initiative
- Ability to provide sound and objective direction to employees and leaders in challenging and complex circumstances
- Strong collaborative, interpersonal and conflict management skills
- Good project management skills
- Intermediate skills using Microsoft Office, OneNote, Word and Excel
- Work experience utilizing HRIS applications (i.e., Workday, ADP, SAP HR, , OnBase, Kronos, etc.)
- Intermittent Driver – Valid driver’s license and automobile insurance per Company policy. Ability to travel off-site to meet business needs.

Job Responsibilities:
- Partners with assigned affiliates/departments to support Human Resources initiatives and promote programs that meet strategic business needs and objectives.
- Provides guidance and support to employees at all levels of the organization, through communication of Chapters initiatives, programs, policies, and procedures.
- Addresses and documents employee complaints, procedure and policy violations, and other concerns through investigation. Utilizes knowledge of company policies and procedures, and federal and state laws in the investigation process.
