As a Principal Technical Architect - ServiceNow, you will be responsible for leading the design, development, and implementation of ServiceNow solutions. You will work closely with stakeholders to understand their business requirements and translate them into technical solutions that align with best practices and industry standards. This role demands expert-level experience and involves defining the Technical Solution, ensuring alignment with business and technical objectives, and providing technical leadership for the evolving architectural capabilities of the entire solution.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the architectural design and development of ServiceNow solutions, ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements and provide technical guidance and expertise.
- Develop and maintain architectural standards, guidelines, and best practices for ServiceNow implementations.
- Oversee the integration of ServiceNow with other enterprise systems and applications.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to development teams, ensuring high-quality deliverables.
- Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest ServiceNow features, capabilities, and industry trends.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to ServiceNow implementations.
- Participate in the development of project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and risk management.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders, providing regular updates on project status and technical issues.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 8+ years of experience in IT, with at least 5 years of hands-on experience with ServiceNow.
- Proven experience as a Technical Architect or similar role, with a strong understanding of ServiceNow architecture and best practices.
- Expertise in ServiceNow modules such as ITSM, ITOM, HRSD, and CSM.
- Strong knowledge of web technologies, including JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and REST/SOAP APIs.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and project management tools.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) and Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) certifications are highly desirable.
A Principal Solution Architecture earns between $141,300.00 - $237,400.00 USD Annual, not to mention all the other amazing rewards that working at AT&T offers. Individual starting salary within this range may depend on geography, experience, expertise, and education/training.
