Raytheon Technologies is seeking an experienced and cleared Cyber Security Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO) in the Herndon, VA area to work as part of a collaborative, multidiscipline team in support of U.S. Government and provide technical subject matter expertise in the field of Cyber Security. Candidate must have a minimum of six (6) years of experience specific to ISSO field. Candidate that has extensive experience or training related to a particular skill, language, system, technology, or tradecraft in the area of Cyber Security. Candidate should be capable of not only delivering a capability tied to that experience or training but passing the knowledge on to others.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

• Making cooperative decision about the direction and execution of project resources, planning and implementation of networks and services.
• Negotiation and adaptation to various organizational policies and regulations, and accountability for outcomes including corporate interests.

Qualifications and Required Skills:

• Experience reviewing, approving and/or developing security plans for IT projects and developing security measures to safeguard information against accidental or unauthorized modification, destruction or disclosure.
• Working knowledge of information systems, system development, network architecture and cyber security, including information security protocols and software.

Certifications:

• Certified Information System Security Professional (CISSP), Security + or similar.

Must have TS/SCI security clearance with Poly on day one of employment and must be eligible for crossover.
