Position Summary:

Florida Atlantic University is seeking a Coordinator, Intercollegiate Athletics - Boca Raton, FL.

Summary of Responsibilities:

  • The Coordinator reports to the Assistant Athletics Director of Facilities & Event Management.  This position will help manage all Division 1 Athletic Facilities, including all day-to-day aspects of facilities maintenance activities, including repairs, renovations, and scheduling. 

  • Assist with developing and maintaining facility policies and procedure manuals for each athletic facility.

  • Event Manager for select Varsity Athletic programs (Men’s & Women’s Soccer, Swim & Dive, Baseball) and support for others as assigned.

  • Assist with athletic facility usage in support of departmental and rental events, including but not limited to scheduling, planning, event coordination, set-up/break-down.

  • Coordinate and schedule preventative and routine maintenance and equipment repairs at all athletic facilities and grounds.

  • Conduct facility walk-throughs to monitor facility cleanliness as well as report and generate maintenance requests.

  • Coordinate with the University's Physical Plant (Electrical, HVAC, Plumbing, etc.) for the day-to-day upkeep of the facilities. This includes, but is not limited to, janitorial services, minor repairs and upkeep of external landscaping.
