Legal Administrative Specialist - Environmental Enforcement Section

To qualify for GS-12: You must have at least one year of specialized experience at, or equivalent to, the GS-11 Federal grade level or above 1) interpreting legal documents that initiate and conclude environmental cases in litigation; and (2) working with the Case Management System, recording all required information into the database, interpreting and reviewing the data to assure its accuracy and completeness, and extracting the relevant data from the database in response to requests for information. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skill and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Time in Grade: Federal employees must meet time-in-grade requirements (one year at the next lower grade) by the closing date of announcement.
