Salary Range: $155,000 – $190,000.

 

This range represents a good faith estimate for this position. The specific rate will be determined by variables such as education, experience, skill set, geographic location, internal equity, and alignment with market data.

 

What You'll Do:   

  

As a Senior Key Account Manager, you will lead and expand Lubrizol’s Medical Solutions business by developing and executing strategic account plans for major medical device customers. You’ll drive revenue growth, build strong partnerships, negotiate complex agreements, and collaborate cross-functionally to deliver innovative solutions using Lubrizol’s medical-grade thermoplastic polyurethanes. Your expertise will position Lubrizol as a trusted industry partner and support our continued leadership in the medical device market. 

  

What We're Looking For:  

  

  • Lead and execute complex account strategies to achieve sustainable top-line revenue and profitable growth, driving penetration into new markets and accounts through industry insights and a robust professional network. 
  • Cultivate, manage, and strengthen high-value customer relationships, positioning Lubrizol as a trusted partner in the medical device industry and serving as the voice of the customer to deliver superior experiences and innovative solutions through cross-functional collaboration. 
  • Strategically coordinate resources across marketing, product management, engineering, and operations to exceed customer expectations and project goals, while maintaining a deep technical understanding of Lubrizol’s manufacturing competencies, applications, and technologies. 
  • Negotiate and close complex commercial agreements, articulate and deliver Lubrizol’s value proposition to senior client stakeholders, and develop customer quotations in collaboration with pricing teams to optimize margins and communicate price changes. 
  • Analyze market trends, customer strategies, business drivers, and the competitive landscape to inform and enhance Lubrizol’s market positioning. 
  • Deliver accurate monthly sales forecasts for key accounts through collaboration with customers and internal stakeholders, provide timely CRM reporting, and drive adoption of CRM best practices across the team. 
  • Lead regular executive-level meetings with customers, represent Lubrizol at major industry conferences, tradeshows, and sales meetings, and continually uncover new commercial opportunities and growth areas. 

  

Skills That Make a Difference:  

  

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university (Business, Engineering, or related field). 
  • Minimum 10 years of B2B sales experience, with at least 8 years directly managing Key Accounts in resins, polymers, specialty chemicals, or engineered materials. 
  • Experience in the medical device sector, with a solid understanding of industry-specific requirements such as regulatory standards, biocompatibility, and product development cycles is preferred.
