Position Summary

The Commercial Finance team is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to support the Surgical business unit (BU). In this role, you will provide financial and analytical guidance in support of strategic and tactical BU goals. The position will work cross-functionally with key Surgical BU stakeholders while providing financial analysis and decision-making support for initiatives across the business. Success in this role requires analytical and communication skills as well as a skillful approach to collaboration and business partnering.

Responsibilities include budgeting, forecasting, monthly and quarterly close activities, financial reporting and reviews, providing business insights, and ad hoc analysis. 

This position will be based in Morrisville, NC.

Principal Responsibilities

•    Prepare and analyze monthly SBU results, including communication of variance versus forecast and budget.
•    Participate in the forecasting and budgeting processes, including coordinating with department heads to make updates as needed. 
•    Ad hoc support and analysis of business issues for Surgical SBU business partners as well as the VP Finance, Surgical.
•    Provide basic financial insights to business growth trends and profitability. Ensure appropriate internal controls are maintained and SBU financial statements are following corporate accounting policies and standards.
•    Collaborate and cooperate with other Teleflex departments to achieve objectives.
•    Research and analyze data to provide a clear, cohesive explanation of business drivers 
•    Prioritize tasks to achieve dead
