Anaplan Senior FP&A Model Builder

OVERVIEW
The Sr. FP&A Model Builder is responsible for the development and management of Anaplan based models used in budgeting, forecasting, analyzing, and reporting company financial and other information. They will also provide guidance on best practices for design and usability.
JOB DUTIES
- Develop, enhance, maintain, and ensure the accuracy of Anaplan-based models and dashboards.
- Work closely with the Anaplan Center of Excellence to develop new Anaplan models to bring functionality online and manage ongoing maintenance.
- Lead the team in identifying business requirements to support the development of new models and enhancements to existing Anaplan models.
- Responsible for the testing and deployment of Anaplan models.
- Provide guidance to model builders on best practices for design and usability.
- Review and oversee development work of model builders.
- Troubleshoot, debug, maintain, and improvise existing Anaplan models.
- Train new end users on the Anaplan platform.
- Independently research and resolve data inquiries.
- Other duties and special projects as requested.
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Required)
- Master's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Preferred)
- 6 months prior experience in a project team environment using Agile methodologies
- 1 year year of Anaplan implementation and/or development experience
- 4 years years financial reporting and analysis or multi-dimensional modeling experience
- Ability to translate complex Excel models into effective and scalable Anaplan models
- Experience with system design, testing, implementation, and end user support/training
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong attention to detail, organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Advanced proficiency in Accounting/budgeting software programs
