Pay Range: $18 - $24/hr
Shift: 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM

Summary: Plans, directs, coordinates, and controls the activities of staff engaged in sorting and reworking parts by performing the following duties.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Under guidance of Quality team, schedules work, assists with employee selection, input on employee performance and training, administers work rules, recommends employee status changes, rewarding and disciplining employees.
Lead employees engaged in routine, repetitive sorting/reworking of parts by planning, assigning, training, and overseeing work.
Responsible for productivity and quality within department control.
Recommends gaging/handling technique, staffing adjustments
A majority of the time will be spent scheduling sort tasks, managing inventories, communicating directly with production team, quality team, and sort staff on a daily basis regarding drop ins, order changes, and quality issues. Remaining time to be spent assisting with various quality tasks. Including, various part checks between presses, assembly cells, and weld cells.
Maintains housekeeping and organization for optimal performance through continuous improvement efforts.
Motivates, directs, oversees sort staff on quality, productivity, workstation setup and flow, and drives company policies.
Assists in customer driven and internal CAR activities where needed.
Assists with regular inventory activities.
Education and/or Experience:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or six to 12 months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience; 3 years prior essential duty experience
