What you bring to SBHG (Qualifications):

• Bachelor’s in child counseling, development or psychology, or related social science field or LVN or LPT license.
• Two (2) years Quality Assurance or Medical Records experience required, with 1 year in a management/ supervisory role preferred.
• One (1) year mental health experience preferred.
• Must possess a valid CA driver's license and maintain a driving record that meets the company driver eligibility policy.

How you will make a difference (Job Overview):

The Quality Assurance (QA) Manager is responsible for administration of the Quality Assurance Program for the CRT. The position coordinates auditing of documentation and oversees the auditing of documentation of services by staff to assure conformity with Medi-Cal, Los Angeles County, regulatory agencies, and internal standards and policies. Position participates in the preparation for and corrective actions that may be needed for County, State, TJC and other stakeholder certification reviews. This position has rigorous oversite of facilities’ CCL, DHCS, LACDMH certification and review processes. This position has responsibility for oversight and implementation of the proper training regimen in reference to, but not limited to, chart and Incident documentation, QA requirements and coordinating additional training as needed. Position oversees the Continuous Quality Assurance program and maintains all CQI data, including facilitation of the CQI Council meeting and presentation as scheduled by SBHG. Oversees Medical Records forms and Quality Assurance efforts, as well as all audit and audit preparation activity. Participates and aids in the development of improved QA processes/procedures for the facilities. Coordinates with Research, IT, EMR, and Finance departments. Serves as representative on various county QA/QI committees. Oversees (or assigns the oversight of) the Safety Committee. Assists in the implementation of practices to aid in the maintenance of safety practices in the facility and overall environment of care.

• Designed for adults with mental health challenges or a recent crisis who need intensive treatment.
• 24/7 programs as an alternative to urgent care or hospitalization.
• Individuals can live on-site in a homelike setting for a short term while they receive counseling and learn basic living and interpersonal skills.
• Able to receive physical and psychological evaluation, mental health, and case management services, in addition to assistance locating permanent housing.
