Currently, ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Program Task Lead, Facilities and Procurement, to join our team on site in Chantilly, VA.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Manages daily operations of a mixed-use facility of offices and warehouse.
- Manage a support team that provides administrative and logistical support for customer facilities moves/adds/changes and the deployment of hardware, peripherals, and software for customer sites.
- Delegates work assignments, maintains work area and serves as contact for suppliers, vendors, and subcontractors.
- Manages supply chain policy and functional procedures and supervises staff in the performance of a variety of warehouse management duties to include shipping, receiving, stocking, storing, and inventory selection.
- Prepares and maintains various regular inventory and or shipping reports to management, authorizes and/or rejects shipments and resolves discrepancies.
- Responsible for ensuring compliance with all local, state, federal requirements and for ensuring the timely submission of accurate and complete time records including all appropriate signatures and certifications.
- Perform a full range of warehousing activities to include receiving, inspecting, inventorying, loading, unloading, segregating, storing, issuing, delivering and process turns-in supplies and equipment.
- Monitor and manage warehouse productivity and activities to ensure compliance with policies and procedures; monitor and manage warehouse inventory to ensure accuracy.
- Monitor and manage a staff of warehouse employees to include safe practices, inventory accuracy and proficient work habits.
- Perform Cycle Counts to assure proper ordering of inventory; perform inventories following the policies and procedures.
- Ensure proper rotation of equipment both in warehouse and in field by tracking equipment issued and received.
- Develop plans for storage and arrangement of stock to determine warehouse configuration, setup, movement, rearrangement, and traffic flow.
- Develop and implement action plans to catch up on backlogs, as necessary.
- Develop storage and space utilization plans in accordance with materials storage areas.
- Prepare items for processing including operating a computer terminal and barcode reader; process daily issues, returns, transfers and receipts and complete all relative tasks to include correction of all errors.
- Develop and implement training programs to ensure effective cross-training.
- Ensure that special documentation remains with materials throughout the storage/issue process, i.e., Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS), Controlled Cryptographic Item (CCI) certificate, and any other applicable documentation.
- Perform quality assurance inspections of materials in storage.
- Coordinate incoming and outgoing shipments and placement of materials within docking area and ensure accountability when receiving, storing and issuing.
- Prepare inventory and production reports, screen and identify shipping and receiving documents for discrepancies, and direct equipment for shipping or storage areas.
- Establish initial cost estimates, equipment needs and propose budgetary costs for customer site move/add/change projects.
- Manage all hardware procurements, budget tracking and shipments for customer site move/add/change projects.
- Project future hardware, peripheral, and software needs on an annual, quarterly, or as-needed basis in accordance with customer procurement schedules.
- Provide cost analysis and forecasts based on projected hardware, software, and peripherals deployment schedules.
- Produce and maintain inventory reports relating to levels of spares and availability of equipment to support deployment efforts.
- Gather and submit equipment requirements for all hardware, software, and peripherals deployed at customer sites to meet testing and specific application requirements.
- Submit hardware, software, peripherals, and COTS software requisitions to the customer for procurement based on projected needs and deployment, move, add, and change schedules.
- Recommend, schedule, and oversee equipment freight deliveries to customer sites according to deployment, move, add, and change schedules.
- Advise Program Manager about inconsistent shipment information, safety stock levels, backorder statuses, defective material or property, and damage from shipping.
